How does IPSY personalization work?
IPSY uses a sophisticated beauty-matching algorithm that takes into account your personal preferences from your initial Beauty Quiz, plus your feedback on products you receive. The more you use IPSY and rate your products, the better we can match you with items you’ll love. We consider factors like your skin type, skin tone, hair type, beauty concerns, favorite colors, and preferred product categories to create your unique Glam Bag each month.
What brands will I receive in my Glam Bag?
IPSY partners with over 600 established and emerging beauty brands. You might receive products from well-known names like Tarte, IT Cosmetics, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Benefit, Urban Decay, and MAC, as well as innovative indie brands like Thrive Causemetics, Ofra, Glow Recipe, and Sunday Riley. We pride ourselves on introducing members to the perfect mix of trusted favorites and exciting new discoveries.
What types of products will I receive?
Your Glam Bag will include a curated mix of 5 makeup, skincare, haircare, and/or beauty tools based on your preferences. You might receive foundations, serums, mascaras, moisturizers, eyeliners, highlighters, lip products, hair treatments, face masks, brushes, and more. Your Beauty Quiz helps us understand which categories you prefer, and you can update your preferences anytime.
Are the products full-size or sample size?
IPSY Glam Bags contain a mix of deluxe sample-sized products and full-size items. The deluxe samples are generous enough to truly experience the product (typically lasting 2-3 weeks of regular use), allowing you to determine if it works for you before investing in the full-size version. Each month, many members also receive 1-2 full-size products in their standard Glam Bag. If you prefer more full-size products, you can upgrade to the Glam Bag Plus subscription, which includes 5 full-size products each month.
When will I receive my Glam Bag?
Glam Bags are shipped around the middle of each month and typically arrive within 7-10 business days after shipping. You’ll receive a tracking number via email when your Glam Bag ships. New subscribers will receive their first Glam Bag the month after they sign up (if you subscribe in January, your first bag will arrive in February). Please note that delivery times may vary based on your location and shipping service conditions.
Can I cancel or change my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel or modify your subscription at any time through your IPSY account settings. For monthly subscriptions, there’s no commitment – you can cancel whenever you want. For quarterly and annual plans, you can cancel future renewals, but they are prepaid and non-refundable for the current term. You can also pause your subscription for up to 3 months if you need a temporary break. Additionally, you can easily switch between subscription plans (monthly, quarterly, or annual) in your account settings.
Is IPSY available internationally?
Currently, IPSY ships to the United States, U.S. territories, and Canada. We’re continuously working to expand our international shipping options. For Canadian subscribers, there is a small additional shipping fee, but all duties and taxes are included in the subscription price.
